If you take the road connecting Zagora to Erfoud in Morocco, north Africa, you can complete the full circuit of Ouarzazate, Zagora and Erfoud. It takes about four or five hours. Along the way, you'll pass by the oasis towns of Alnif, Tazzarine and Nkob.

Just 45 minuetes away, there?s the 650ft dunes at Merzouga. You can climb to the top in a standard vehicle (you won't need a 4X4). From here, it's only about 15 Kms to the market town of Rissani.
