There are many types of fishing you can do in Morocco, Africa and a massive variety of fish you can catch. From the tranquil waters of the many inland rivers and lakes to the wide-open seas for some deep-sea fishing. The choice is yours... You can fish for trout in the gorges and wadis. In the lakes you'll find an abundance of Pike, Perch, Black Bass, Roach, Carp, Eels and Barbels in the lakes. The lake fishing season in Morocco is normally from May to June.
In Morocco's oceans there is a plentiful supply of Sa Perch, Bonitos, Mullet, Chad, and Sea Beam along with larger fish like tuna, swordfish, marlin, grouper and barracudas.
There are a number of ports where you can go deep see fishing in Morocco. Two popular locations are Sakhla in the Sahara and Mohammedia near Casablanca. |
