There are many types of fishing you can do in Morocco, Africa and a massive variety of fish you can catch. From the tranquil waters of the many inland rivers and lakes to the wide-open seas for some deep-sea fishing. The choice is yours... You can fish for trout in the gorges and wadis. In the lakes you´ll find an abundance of Pike, Perch, Black Bass, Roach, Carp, Eels and Barbels in the lakes. The lake fishing season in Morocco is normally from May to June.
In Morocco´s oceans there is a plentiful supply of Sa Perch, Bonitos, Mullet, Chad, and Sea Beam along with larger fish like tuna, swordfish, marlin, grouper and barracudas.
There are a number of ports where you can go deep see fishing in Morocco. Two popular locations are Sakhla in the Sahara and Mohammedia near Casablanca. |
